SafeNet Assured Technologies receives Department of Defense Information Network Approved Products List (DoDIN APL) approval for 100Gbps High Speed Encryptors.
Senetas CN Series high-assurance Ethernet encryptors are distributed throughout the US government by SafeNet Assured Technologies.
In a press release this week, SafeNet Assured Technologies confirmed that the Senetas-sourced CN9000 Series of hardware encryptors has made it onto the US DoDIN Approved Products List. Kirk Spring, President of SafeNet Assured Technologies, explained the importance of the announcement. “Receiving DoDIN APL approval allows our Department of Defense customers access to some of the most advanced high speed encryption technology on the market today”.
“The CN9000 series is ideally suited to encrypt provider networks, data center interconnect, and disaster recovery links, whether the WAN is a simple point-to-point network or highly complex, multi-point-to-multi-point, fully meshed network,” says Spring. “These encryptors provide maximum security without compromising network performance while offering more flexibility over conventional MACsec-based products”

The DoDIN APL, maintained by the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA), outlines the products that have been certified for use on Department of Defense networks. DoDIN APL certification effectively gives listed products DISA’s seal of approval and signifies the products have completed Interoperability (IO) and Information Assurance (IA) certification. This certification is also meaningful to intelligence and civilian government agencies.
The CN9000 Series joins a list of previously approved CN Series Ethernet Encryptors including:

- CN6010 Ethernet Encryptor
- CN6040 Ethernet/Fibre Channel Encryptor
- CN6100 Ethernet Encryptor
