Based on the high-performance CN encryptor platform, the CV1000 virtual encryptor delivers strong and effective WAN security.
As Eurosatory 2018, Europe’s leading International Defence and Security Exhibition was beginning, Gemalto (Senetas’ international distributor) launched the CV1000 virtual encryptor.
Developed by Senetas to meet the increasing demand for strong and effective data encryption across large-scale wide-area networks, the CV1000 virtual encryptor offers concurrent, multi-Layer encryption (Layer 2, 3 & 4).
Enterprise and government customers alike require high-performance encryption security that can be scaled effortlessly and cost-effectively across hundreds or thousands of network links.
However, the sheer number of links involved in large-scale, distributed or virtualised wide-area-networks rules out the use of dedicated hardware to secure every link.
In response, Senetas developed the CV1000 virtual encryptor. The CV1000 is the first Network Function Virtualisation (NFV) encryption appliance, designed specifically for extended WANs.
It delivers robust encryption security for data-in-motion across high-speed Carrier Ethernet WAN links at up to 5Gbps.
Based on the certified high-assurance Senetas CN Series hardware encryption platform, the CV1000 is also fully integrated with Gemalto’s SafeNet KeySecure encryption key management system; providing hardened encryption security.
The CV1000 offers state-of-the-art encryption security and key management without impacting on network or application performance. Unlike IPSec-type encryption solutions, the CV1000 is completely transparent to the network; making it the ideal solution to secure your WAN, right to the virtual edge.
